Brent Stait

Brent Stait portrays the role of Rev Bem, an alien who acts as the starship's resident scientist, sociologist, and linguist.

A Gemini Award nominated actor, Stait brings an extensive list of both film and television credits to Andromeda. Most recently, he starred in The Virginian for TNT, directed by Bill Pullman. Other recent feature and made for television films include H-E Double Hockey Sticks by Disney, The Roswell Project by Credo/UPN, Mystery Alaska by Hollywood Pictures, Five Desperate Hours by NBC, Ellen Foster by CBS Hallmark, Titanic by CBS, I Still Dream of Jeannie by NBC and numerous others.

Stait has also guest starred in a number of television series including Outer Limits by Showtime/Trilogy, First Wave by USA Network, Viper by Paramount, Stargate by MGM, Due South by Due South Productions, Poltergeist by MGM/Trilogy, X-Files by Fox Television, Wiseguy by Cannell Films and various others.

Stait's stage credits include King Lear, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet, and Merchant of Venice, among others.
